Food Allergy Panel

The Food Sensitivity Complete panel assesses sensitivity to 209 common foods in the Western diet and food additives such as preservatives, artificial sweeteners, emulsifiers, food dyes, and pesticides, which can cause chronic inflammation and increased intestinal permeability (leaky gut).

Healthy Food

Do you suspect you may have some food sensitivities but have a hard time pinpointing which foods give you trouble? A food allergy panel is a simple blood test that tests 96 of the most common food allergens that are consumed, including peanut, milk, egg, shellfish, tree nuts, fish, corn, soy, lectin, wheat, fruits, vegetables, grain, legumes, and nightshades, amongst others. This test is ideal for patients who may be suffering from delayed reactions to certain foods.

Why test food sensitivities?

  • 15 million people nationwide have food allergies

  • 38.7% of food allergic children have a history of severe reactions

  • There has been a 50% increase in food allergies observed among children between 1997 and 2011

  • Can be very useful to help prioritize on an elimination or rotation diet. Removing the foods that the body has produced antibodies to will help to alleviate symptoms, because the source of inflammation has been removed.

If you have the following symptoms, you may be a good candidate for a Food Allergy Panel:
